JOB TITLE: Site Operative - External

LOCATION: Inverness Retail Park

SHIFT PATTERN: Fri, sat, sun 0700-1530, 24 hours per week

PAY RATE: £10.67 per hour

ABM UK is currently seeking dedicated and reliable individuals to join our team as Site Operatives for external sites. As a Site Operative, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and overall appearance of client sites, ensuring a safe and pleasant environment for visitors and staff.

This role requires working at various client sites across the UK, so flexibility is key. The shift pattern can vary depending on the specific site requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Carry out daily cleaning tasks, such as sweeping, mopping, and waste disposal, to maintain the cleanliness of the site.
• Ensure that external areas, including walkways, parking lots, and entrances, are clean and free from debris.
• Empty and clean outdoor bins on a regular basis.
• Perform basic maintenance tasks, such as replacing light bulbs or fixing minor repairs.
• Respond to any cleaning issues or emergencies promptly.
• Follow health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
• Provide excellent customer service to clients and visitors.
• Report any issues or concerns to the Site Supervisor or Manager.

This position requires individuals who are motivated, physically fit, and have a keen eye for detail. Previous cleaning or maintenance experience is preferred, but training will be provided for the right candidate.

Requirements

• Physically fit and able to perform cleaning and maintenance tasks.
• Previous cleaning or maintenance experience preferred.
• Ability to work independently and follow instructions.
• Flexibility in terms of working hours and locations.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Attention to detail and a strong work ethic.
• Knowledge of health and safety procedures.
• Full UK driving license is desirable.
