Hybrid - London (Barbican) 1-2 Days a week | Technology | Permanent | Full Time

As a multi-skilled Technology Delivery Manager , you'll build, coach and guide multi-discipline teams to deliver within a mixed methodology delivery environment. We are looking for someone who is passionate about contributing to our Nuffield Health purpose 'to build a healthier nation'. Who can deliver alongside driving forward our Technology wide initiative to be more agile. We are currently operating within Units and Squads with cross-dependency technologies, meaning we're looking for someone with great collaboration & communication skills.
As our Technology Delivery Manager, you will:
You'll be working within the Data and Integrations squad who are at the heart of multiple important initiatives across our Nuffield estate. Fundamentally the purpose of the Delivery Manager role is to enable squad delivery - guarding the squad's time, removing all things that are hindering or 'blocking' the squad's progress, so they can focus purely on delivering business outcomes without obstacle.
NOTE - the Delivery Manager role is a sister role to Scrum Master - the difference between the two roles being that a Scrum Master operates in a Scrum methodology, whereas a Delivery Manager may operate in Scrum, but will also operate across other methodologies too, e.g., PRINCE2 projects and various other agile flavours, such as Kanban.
We are looking for an experienced Delivery/Project Manager with experience within healthcare - ideally with a real passion for all things data related. This role requires the ability to understand and manage technically complex deliveries. This role requires a high level of stakeholder and supplier management along with the ability to manage multiple deliveries in parallel - in a busy, high performing team.
As our Technology Delivery Manager, you will be responsible for:
Delivery, focusing squads on cost effective business outcomes
Managing delivery risks and dependencies
Squad Planning and Prioritisation
Squad collaboration
Ways of working
Measuring success and continually improving squad performance
Building and managing stakeholder relationships
Being a squad's delivery advocate
Supporting the Head of Delivery and Lead Delivery Manager in developing delivery processes & practices
