The Opportunity
We are currently recruiting for an Operational Support Assistant on a 12 month fixed term contract to join our Aggregates division. Within this wide ranging role you will provide vital support to 7 of our operational aggregate depots and the commercial teams across the busy London region.
In this hybrid role you will have the opportunity to engage with a broad range of stakeholders from our Depot supervisors, Area Managers, sales teams and external providers having our input into management meetings.
Duties will include:
You will help to support in local procurement of materials
Collate and present area operations statistics, sitting in on management meetings
Review and assist management with compliance system
Maintain operator training schedule & licenses
Investigate & assist management in stock levels
Recording supply chain data
Reporting & recording of sales data
Who you are
Self-motivated, with initiative and a proactive approach
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Able to prioritise and plan ahead accordingly, with a structured approach to delivering projects and day-to-day activities
Strong IT literateracy with good ability to use mobile technology and standard computing functions, word, excel etc.
