Malmaison Oxford is an iconic hotel nestled amongst the dreaming spires of Oxford. Originally a castle but best known as a former prison; it is one of the most talked about hotels in the Malmaison Brand, especially the awesome A-Wing and its cell rooms.
As Sales Manager you will build, develop and maintain strong relationships with our clients. By managing client accounts, taking the lead on revenue generation, carrying out local proactivity, and networking across the city; you are the face and voice of the Brand.
You will be required to manage the external and internal sales function, and generate and develop new business whilst maintaining existing account revenues. You will be expected to work in a team alongside other Heads of Department and your General Manager, delivering exceptional service to our guests, whether they are joining us for social dinners, corporate meetings, or as part of a special event group.
A passion for sales and people is a must. Excellent communication skills are essential. Experience within a hospitality background is beneficial but, above all, you must have a real love of hospitality. We are looking for a proactive, creative and driven individual who would love getting out and about and engaging with the local business community, spreading the word about this incredible hotel.
This role is a part-time role but offers flexible working hours across the week. 30 hours over 7 days would be ideal, designed to achieve a work/life balance for you, whilst also meeting the needs of the business.
