Job description
What you will do in your working day
- Prepare and process routine accrual and prepayment journals, in accordance with agreed policies and procedures and agreed timescales
- Prepare and process routine adjustments to budget reports
- Prepare and process purchasing card transactions to the financial system in accordance with agreed policies
- Distribute financial information (budget statements/reference cost information) to budget holders on a monthly basis to an agreed list
- Personal duty of care to complete time sheets, mileage forms, expense claim sheets etc., accurately and in a timely manner, providing receipts as required
- Ensure all ad-hoc income, including non-contractual activity for the Trust is correctly raised & accounted for in accordance with Trust procedures as directed by senior staff
- Produce draft financial reports for review by senior finance staff prior to distribution to budget holders on a monthly basis within deadlines
- Prepare and reconcile the control accounts to ensure that the Trusts financial information is accurately reported. Investigate, analyse and correct any errors or discrepancies in conjunction with the Team Leader
