Job description
A young growing family is looking for a full-time nanny to join their family home near South Harting, West Sussex, GU31. This is a live-out role and you should be able to commute easily to the property. You must have a driving licence. Package Offered £40,000 - £50,000 gross per year depending on experience Family Background The family have two young children under 5 years old who attend nursery. The family travels regularly and they have two dogs. They are keen to find a new long-term nanny who is happy to lend a pair of hands to do the housekeeping duties. Duties The ideal candidate should be both happy to help with child duties and help around the house. You should be fun and flexible, willing to follow the family's approach to how they wish their children to be brought up. The mother is very hands-on and around most of the day, so the role will be both shared and occasionally sole charge when mum is out. You will also be helping with cooking, and preparing food for the children, snacks and dinners. The family prefer simple and healthy family-style meals. The family travel regularly and would like you to travel with them throughout the year. Accommodation, food and bills will be paid for when travelling. You should be pet friendly and be happy to lend a hand with the dogs, feeding them and taking them for walks when required. You should be kind and friendly, easy going and happy to be involved in family life. Location The family live near South Harting, West Sussex, GU31. This is a live-out role and you should be able to commute to the property. When you travel with the family accommodation will be provided. Days/hours Monday to Friday 9am - 6pm Flexibility to do additional hours/babysitting when agreed in advance. This will be paid as overtime or time off in lieu Languages You must speak a good level of English to communicate with the family. Special Skills You should also be confident in both childcare and housekeeping. You should be friendly and happy to be a part of family life. You must have experience looking after children of this age range. You must hold a driving licence and be comfortable working with dogs.
