The Employer is: LOUGHSHORE PLAYGROUP. To support the pre-school leader in providing a stimulating and varied programme of play. To ensure the safety and wellbeing of the children. Help prepare and set up the playroom before and after the session. Help provide and take part in activities. Carry out observations and record assessments as directed by Pre-school leader. Attend courses and requested/required. .

Responsibilities

• To provide a safe and nurturing environment for the children, reporting any concerns about a child or equipment to the pre-school leader promptly.
• Keep completely confidential any information regarding children, their families or other staff which is learned as part of the job except where pre-school policy requires that this information is passed on.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• NVQ Level 2 in Childcare or equivalent.

Desirable Skills

• NVQ level 3 in childcare.

Further Information

The Employer is: LOUGHSHORE PLAYGROUP. Although this is a part-time temporary opportunity, hours may be extended, and it could lead to a permanent position. The job advert may end before the closing date if requested by the employer. The successful candidate will be required to have an Access NI, social services check and satisfactory references before the job offer is confirmed. This is a temporary 25hr per week position.
