Salary: £36,779 (including 15% shift allowance, rising to £37,586 following successful completion of probationary period.)

What you will do
We are currently looking to recruit an experienced CNC Turner in our Engineering Shop, at our Corby site. This is an exciting time to join the team, with the department receiving over £500k in new machinery investment in the last 5 years and within the next year it will be relocating to a new workshop, within the existing Corby site. The investment has included 2 new Doosan Puma 2 axis CNC lathes with Fanuc control, which we require an experienced CNC Turner to program, set and operate. Over the next 2 years an additional £1 million is due to be invested in further new machinery and upgrades.
The Engineering Shop provides services and support for our tube manufacturing operations. The CNC Turner will primarily be responsible for the programming and re-profiling of tool steel rolls used for tube manufacturing. In addition, they will need to support with other general machining activities within the department, as per the needs of the business. Further training will be provided where necessary. The job holder will need to work 8 hour shifts, Monday to Friday. The shift pattern covers days, backs and nights on a weekly rotation. Overtime paid at x1.5 Monday to Saturday and x2 Sunday.
