Job description
We are recruiting for a Children's Continence Product Nurse.
The Children’s Continence Product Service is based at the Whitstable & Tankerton Hospital alongside the East Kent Children’s Bladder and Bowel Service.
The Team provides high quality continence product assessment and reviews for children and young people throughout West Kent, East Kent and Dartford, Gravesend and Swanley.
Duties will include:
- Providing skilled, evidence based care which adheres to agreed policies and procedures
- Working with patients and families to negotiate and agree a personalised care plan including assessing risks and needs
- Working in partnership with patients and their families and carers
- Gaining consent and, as far as possible, involving people in all decision
making
- Responding to complaints or concerns effectively and quickly in line with the services’ policy
