As Senior Character Artist, working alongside the Art Director, you will ensure the quality and believability of our games characters. As we aim to create memorable experiences for our players, we’re looking for someone with an eye for detail and a passion for bringing personality into their work. You will ensure quality by supporting and mentoring the character team, helping build a healthy culture where everyone can excel.
You won’t be alone in your role, you will benefit from close collaboration with other disciplines, working together to ensure that as a ‘team’ we support each other in all aspects of what we create. You will work with Technical Artists and graphics developers to ensure efficient pipelines and processes are in place that allow you and your team to achieve the highest quality product. You will be involved in all aspects of planning and budgeting.
The role will be fluid between “Hands On” and “Directing” others, you should feel comfortable with both aspects and have the experience to know when to “Do” and when to “Direct”. This flexibility allows or you to understand the challenges facing the team and better communicate these to other groups.
