Senior Engineering Geologist

Bristol

£40,000 - £50,000

Working with one of my clients, a globally led multidisciplinary consultancy offering a comprehensive service in ground technology respected design, engineering and project management. They are looking to bring in a senior-level engineer to assist in managing their growing workload and notable collection of esteemed geotechnical projects, which are experiencing rapid expansion both within the UK and on an international scale.

The ideal candidate for this position should possess a degree in civil engineering or geology, accompanied by a postgraduate qualification in a geotechnical field. Additionally, they should hold chartered status as either a civil engineer or geologist.

Desirable qualifications and experiences for candidates include:

• Experience in the infrastructure sector, particularly in highways, rail, or water geotechnics.
• Strong academic background, preferably with a relevant MSc degree or equivalent.
• Proven track record of working in a dynamic engineering consultancy environment.
• Project management skills and familiarity with the engineering consultancy and design markets.
• Demonstrated experience in geotechnical design.
• Knowledge of applying CDM Regulations in design and ground investigation settings.
• Successful commercial experience in negotiating and managing projects.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities.
• Proficiency in report writing, ensuring accuracy through self-checking.
• Flexibility for short-term travel assignments within the UK and internationally, with a valid
• UK driving license preferred.
