We are currently seeking a Full Time Permanent Nursery Assistant due to increase demand.

Daytime shifts Monday - Friday,

Full time positions between 35-41 hours per week over four or five days. Some flexibility on shift patterns and hours. The nursery is open 7.30-6pm Monday to Friday and shifts will be within these working hours.

The role will involve working as part of the Peartree team to deliver a varied programme to children aged 0 years to 12 years old. Our nursery enjoy a number of 'Fresh air sessions' and it would be beneficial for the prospective candidate to have a good understanding of the advantages of outdoor play and discovery for young children.

Salary : Up to £10.77 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Care for children in the nursery.
• Assisting with children's daily routines, engaging with the children in play and creative activities.
• Engaging in play and creative activities with the children.
• Ensuring children are stimulated in a creative & positive environment.
• Ensuring all policies & procedures are followed.
• Dealing with queries from parents / carers.
• Conducting general cleaning duties as required.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential : Working towards or qualified in CACHE / QCF Level 2/3 in Children's Care Learning & Development or equivalent.

Desirable : Experience working with children in either a paid or voluntary capacity.
