* Salary: £30,000- £46,525 (In line with your current pay scale)

History Teacher- Whitstable

Academics are working alongside an excellent school around the Whitstable area who are looking for an experienced History Teacher for Key Stages 3 and 4, and Key Stage 5 is desirable but not essential. Teaching across the rest of the Humanities in support of the vibrant humanities department may be required at Key Stage 3 to support the team.

The right applicant will work well and successfully with the department in its aim to ensure the students excel in History, Geography and Religious Studies (RE) and reach their full potential. Applicants with different but relatable experience may be considered as the school has an excellent CPD programme.

PLEASE NOTE a PGCE or QTS is required (or equivalent) for this role, if you have teaching experience but not QTS/PGCE we still have roles available so please feel free to send a CV

The right candidate will:

* Create engaging lessons in line with the National Curriculum
* Adapt plans to accommodate pupil needs and abilities
* Be able to manage poor behavior in the class effectively so as to minimize disruption
* Clearly articulate yourself to other staff to ensure any concerns you have on behalf of a student are followed up
* Adapt teaching styles for varying learning styles of students
* Be passionate about their career growth in teaching as well as their subject specialism of History
* Have proof of high exam results from previous student cohorts
