Responsibilities:
- Deliver exceptional nursing care to patients in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures.
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' health status and create personalized care plans tailored to their individual needs.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring accurate documentation and adherence to safety protocols.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including physicians, specialists, and other healthcare professionals, to coordinate patient care and treatment plans.
- Monitor patients' conditions closely, recognizing any changes and taking appropriate actions to address any deterioration.
- Provide emotional support to patients and their families, fostering a compassionate and comforting environment.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including medical histories, treatments, and observations.
- Participate in clinical audits, quality improvement initiatives, and continuing education to enhance your nursing skills and knowledge.
- Adhere to infection control measures and maintain a clean and safe environment for patients and staff.
- Serve as an advocate for patients, ensuring their rights, preferences, and dignity are respected at all times.
Qualifications:
- Registered Nurse (RN) with current and valid registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC).
- A degree in Nursing or equivalent qualification from an accredited institution.
- Experience working as an RGN in a hospital setting is preferred.
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Empathy, compassion, and a patient-centered approach to care.
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Proficiency in using healthcare technology and electronic medical records systems.
- Understanding of and adherence to professional and ethical nursing standards.
