Job description
What you will do in your working day
- Handle support incidents and requests through the full lifecycle to resolution
- Provide customer facing support to resolve customers' day to day technology queries, resolve issues and manage incidents
- Be confident resolving hardware, software, server and networking queries
- Have a good understanding of data security and cloud technologies
- The apprentice will be part of the core hub that manages real time communications with customers on the current status of IT and Clinical Systems, liaising directly with any other teams as required
The training you will be getting
The successful applicant will receive Induction and training appropriate to the activities they will undertake and following this induction period will be enrolled to the Level 3 IT Solutions Technician Professional apprenticeship standard with a training provider.
The apprentice will be expected to complete the elements of the apprenticeship within the duration of the contract. The standard includes:
- Level 3 IT Solutions Technician ( Network Technician) Apprenticeship Standard Certificate
- BCS IT Fundamentals
What to expect at the end of your apprenticeship
- On completion of the apprenticeship, the successful applicant may have the opportunity to apply to substantive posts within the Trust and as well as the possibility to enrol on to higher apprenticeships
- This apprenticeship is also recognised for entry onto the BCS, The Chartered Institute for IT, Register of IT Technicians confirming level 3 professional competence. Those completing the apprenticeship can apply for registration
