Recruit4Staff is proud to be representing their client, a well established engineering company in their search for a Manual Machinistto work at their facility in Crewe

For the successful Manual Machinist our client is offering:

1. Basic salary up to £31,200 per annum.
2. Monday to Friday, 8am till 4:30pm
3. Permanent Role
4. 26 days holiday + Bank Holidays (Rising to a maximum of 31 days + BH with service)
5. Pension

The role - Manual Machinist:

1. Setting and operating manual milling machines
2. Setting and operating manual turning machines
3. Tool making
4. Reading and working from engineering drawings
5. Making bespoke and small batch orders
6. Working to tight tolerances 
7. Varied work for clients in the marine, food manufacturing, oil & gas, and automotive sectors

What our client is looking for in a Manual Machinist

1. HNC/NVQ/City and Guilds in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent BENEFICIAL
2. Previous experience in a similar role ESSENTIAL
3. Previous experience of manual machining (Milling, lathes, turners) ESSENTIAL
4. Time-served apprenticeship in manual machining/ tool making BENEFICIAL
5. Grinding experience BENEFICIAL
