Specifically, some responsibilities of an ESG Data Analyst include:
As a key member of a dynamic team, you will play a crucial role in collecting, analysing and interpreting ESG data to support our commitment to sustainable and responsible business practices. Collaborating with internal teams and external stakeholders to understand their considerations and expectations, this will involve:
- Gathering data from a variety of sources, then ensuring its accuracy and completeness through rigorous validation processes.
- Conducting quantitative and qualitative analysis of ESG data, generating reports and creating presentations to provide commentary on your findings to key stakeholders.
- Developing and maintaining key performance indicators, keeping track on progress towards ESG targets and ensuring we comply with all regulatory requirements.
- Continually seeking out and implementing improvements to data collection and reporting processes, as well as keeping abreast of emerging trends and best practices.
About you:
Ideally, we’re looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Data Analyst, who’s degree qualified in a relevant field, such as data / environmental science or business, and is able to demonstrate:
- Proven experience in data analysis and interpretation, along with strong proficiency in data visualisation tools and techniques.
- Familiarity with and a broad understanding of ESG frameworks, standards and reporting guidelines, linked to a firm commitment to data accuracy and integrity.
- First rate communication skills, including the ability to convey sometimes complex information to diverse audiences.
Candidates must hold a Full Driving License as the role requires travel to sites throughout the UK.
