Role overview As a Supply Early Years Teacher, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the foundation of our students\' education. Here\'s what you\'ll be doing:
- Planning and delivering engaging lessons
- You\'ll design and deliver high-quality lessons that cover all areas of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum.
- These lessons will ignite curiosity, inspire creativity, and foster a love for learning.
- Assessing and monitoring progress
- You\'ll assess student progress, provide constructive feedback, and report to parents and carers.
- Your insights will guide each child\'s development journey.
- Creating a nurturing environment
- Providing pastoral care and support, you\'ll ensure a secure and positive learning environment.
- Your warmth and encouragement will help children flourish.
- Visual aids and resources
- You\'ll develop and produce visual aids and teaching resources.
- These tools will enhance learning experiences and engage young minds.
- Promoting mathematical and creative development
- Through stories, songs, games, drawing, and imaginative play, you\'ll encourage both mathematical and creative growth.
- Every day will be an adventure!
What you need to be considered for this role
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience of teaching in EYFS or key stage 1
- A thorough knowledge of the EYFS curriculum and the expectations for reception
- Excellent classroom management and organisational skills
- A creative and innovative approach to teaching and learning
- A commitment to continuous professional development
- A positive attitude and a sense of humour
