Contract - Permanent
Hours - 31.25hrs
Salary - NJC Grade C SCP 5-6 £23,500 - £23,893 per annum + term time only plus 3 inset days (pro rata actual amts £16,753 - £17,156 per annum)

The role is subject to a 6-month probationary period
The Governors at St Bernadette’s are seeking to appoint a Permanent Teaching Assistant to work in Key Stage 1.
We are looking for:
An enthusiastic Teaching Assistant with experience working with children within a class setting. You may also be required to support children on a one-one/group situation; within the classroom/intervention room and in the school grounds, developing their learning using direction from the class teacher. You should also have good knowledge of systematic phonics and be able to deliver group work addressing the different phonic phases.
You will also be required to work alongside the class teacher, giving feedback and supporting their assessment for learning.
