Interim Treasury Accountant - Slough (Hybrid) - £400 - £500 per day

The Company:

A leading global organisation within the energy sector require an Interim Treasury Accountant to join for an initial period of six months.

The Role:

You will beaccounting for treasury instruments and transactions within the Group, have ownership of hedge accounting and analysecomplextreasury transactions. Additionally you will be responsible for designing and implementing improvements to the treasury accounting system.



Duties Will Include:

• Prepareaccounting entries for treasury transactions, including those relating to debt, investmentsand a currency hedging program
• Design and implement improvements to the treasury accounting system
• Valuation of certain derivatives using Bloomberg
• Manual calculations for other derivatives derived from forward rates
• Preparation of treasury disclosures in the Group annual and interim financial statements
• Preparation of financial statements
• Support on ad hoc projects across the group

About The Successful Applicant:

You will be a strong technical accountant, ideally having started your career within practice. You will have strong Treasury experience gained in a sizeable organisation and have a proven track record of having implemented process improvements. You will have strong IT skills and have the capability of presenting to SMT's.
