Job description
The science department at Skinners Kent Academy is supported by a busy technician team comprising 3 technicians working across all three disciplines for KS3, KS4 and KS5. The role includes fulfilling requisitioned lessons as dictated by our schemes of work using the online Bunsen Education requisition app. We regularly research and trial ideas for new practicals as additional resources or as a means to improving existing lessons. Health and safety is paramount in our department and we use Cleapss as our advisory body. We work closely with the science teachers creating a friendly and cooperative environment and we look forward to welcoming an additional technician to the team.
