CNC Machinist
Sydney
$40 per hour (negotiable)

Role and Responsibilities
You will be a results-oriented self-starter with the drive to achieve high standards, embrace continuous learning and development and think creatively.
* Programming and operation of all toolroom CNC capital equipment to manufacture items to meet goals and deadlines
* Fitment, assembly and blank-off/alignment of all plastic injection moulds, stamping die and high-pressure die casting tools
* Provide training and mentorship to toolroom apprentices
* Work, communicate, and collaborate well in a team environment
* Assist other toolroom sections as required
* Operate manual machines safely and efficiently
* Communicate obstacles and issues to the Toolroom CNC Team Leader
* Contribute to the implementation of robust continuous improvement initiatives
* Contribute to stocked and non-stocked material and consumable stock taking requirements
* Maintain reporting to the toolroom CNC team leader
* Ensure WH&S obligations are upheld
* Housekeeping duties
Your Skills and Experience
* Significant experience in toolmaking and precision manufacturing
* Extensive experience with a demonstrated knowledge of toolmaking best practices
* Able to meet deadlines and work under pressure, with limited supervision
* Qualified toolmaking or fitter machinist mechanical engineering trade
* Knowledge of WH&S standards
* High attention to detail and the ability to multi-task
