Senior IT Support Engineer
- Salary: up to 45K
- Location: York - Hybrid - with travel to client sites as required

As the Senior IT Support Engineer you will work with customers as the face of the company in a growing helpdesk function. Day-to-day, you'll be managing your time between delivering rapid solutions to complex problems to building long-term solutions that deliver permanent improvements to clients.
Key Responsibilities of the Senior IT Support Engineer
- Engage with customers to provide first-contact technical support to M365 products and end-users.
- Function as a mentor, coach and guide to junior members of the team
- Conduct installation, migration and deployment projects
- Maintain comprehensive logs of events, problems, and resolutions in the ticketing system and provide regular updates to the customer.
- Escalate unresolved issues to the appropriate support personnel.
- Manage end-point devices via the use of remote monitoring and management tools (RMM).
- Assist with cybersecurity and risk mitigation.
- Update and preserve knowledge base articles and technical documentation.
- Travel to client sites on occasion to deliver on-site support.
Experience Required for the Senior IT Support Engineer Role
- Significant experience with M365, Microsoft Cloud, Active Directory
- Experience of remote access technologies
- Familiarity with basic networking protocols
