Overview of the role

We are looking for a Pharmacist to make a real difference at our pharmacy based in Sheffield - Birley Lane.

• Salary -  Up to £29 per hour + annual incentive of up to 15% of annual salary
• Contract Type -  Permanent - Full Time
• No. Hours per week - 47.5

The Pharmacy:

This is a well structured branch with a lot of potential. It is attached to the medical centre with whom we have a very good relationship. Regular patients, MDS patients, substance misuse and walk in's due to been next to the medical centre. The pharmacy is attached to a health centre.

What is the local area like? - A pleasant area with a mixture of all ages.

Services Provided and Items - Flu. Hypertension, New medicine service, substance misuse and all other core NHS services and 11,000 items.

Number of community blisters - 50

Number of substance misuse patients - 10

Relationship with surgery - Very good

Facilities such as staff room, car park, access to public transport - Staff room, office, car park and access to local transport

Trading hours - 8:30 am to 6:00pm Monday to Friday

The Team: 

5 colleagues - 4 trained and 1 trainee

Trainee has only just started so completion date is approx a year

The Ideal Candidate

The successful candidate must possess an MPharm degree or equivalent and management experience is desired but not essential. You will be required to have your GPhC registration upon your start date.

You’ll be supported in your role by an Area Operations Manager and a Regional Operations Manager, with regular structured pharmacy visits
