An innovative North West-based business is looking to appoint an accomplished Senior Fleet Manager to lead their fleet operations team.
The successful candidate will assume a pivotal role in steering fleet management, defining procurement strategies, and championing operational excellence. Responsibilities include overseeing the entire fleet lifecycle, with a strong emphasis on cost-effectiveness and environmental sustainability.
Key duties and responsibilities:
- Leading the fleet division with proficient management skills.
- Crafting and refining the fleet procurement strategy.
- Supervising the selection and acquisition of vehicles.
- Collaborating closely with procurement to negotiate with financiers and suppliers.
- Ensuring strict adherence to UK Government legislation for regulatory compliance in all fleet operations.
About you:
- Possess a solid background in fleet management and a proven history of team leadership.
- Demonstrate a forward-thinking approach to enhancing fleet performance and efficiency.
- Hold a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in business administration, logistics, or supply chain management.
- Have a minimum of 8 years experience in fleet management, procurement, and operations.
- Flexible to travel to other offices as necessary.
