Maintenance Manager  
Based in Carlton, Barnsley, S71 3HF - The home of Mr Kipling 
Salary - circa £65,000 - £70,000, Car Allowance, Bonus and PMI  

Permanent, Full Time  

An exciting opportunity has arisen at our Barnsley site for a Maintenance Manager Baker to lead our busy Maintenance department as part of our wider Engineering team on a permanent basis.

The Maintenance Manager will be responsible for the implementation & execution of the site maintenance strategy and the Leadership of engineering team managers & engineering shift teams to develop & embed maintenance processes that yield sustained improvements to meet the site and business objectives. 

Responsibilities include: 

• Leadership of the onsite team to drive performance of the overall engineering team 
• Ensure compliance in areas of responsibility with all statutory and company regulations regarding health and safety and safe working practice, security, Food safety & quality
• Develop a strong and effective cross functional links to maximise long term asset development
• Establish & Reporting of key Maintenance KBI’s (PPM, Corrective Actions, Cost, Engineering Stores)
• Control Maintenance spend in line with company objectives
• Working along side the Reliability Manager to Implement and execute the sites Maintenance Strategy
• Engagement of key stake holders at all levels of the business in supporting the sites Maintenance Strategy and ensuring the policies & processes are adhered to
• To achieve set objectives through management of direct and indirect teams
