Job Title: Vehicle Inspector (Cosmetic)

Location: Thurleigh, MK44

Salary: £11.50 to £13 per hour (£23,985 - £27,114 per annum)

Working Hours: Monday to Friday 8.00am-4.30pm

We’re looking for down-to-earth go-getters, who are ready to make their mark on the automotive industry. Our Site Operations teams play a vital role across our business. Here you can build on your knowledge and find your specialty at one of our sites or on the road – the opportunities are endless.

Within this role, you will be working as a part of an experienced workshop team, ensuring our vehicles are finished to the highest standard for our customers, under the support and guidance of the supervisor and Workshop Manager.

Your key responsibilities will be:

Carry out pre-refurbishment inspections on around 10-20 vehicles per day.
Inspections to include body work, wheels, tyres etc
Inspections to include recommending and assigning repair methods to body work.
Document all work recommended on assigned repair order using handheld tablet
Test feature functionality on all vehicles such as interior features e.g., Sat Nav, Cruise Control, window switches, Air Conditioning, spare keys etc.
Tablet training and vehicle flow process training will be provided.

To be successful, you’ll bring some of the following experience with you:

Minimum 6 months of previous experience in a similar role as a Vehicle Inspector or Technician or experience in body repair methods
You will be passionate to work within the motor industry and take pride in their work, to the highest standards of work set by customers
You will need to work independently on vehicles and have experience to make decisions when required
