Job description

· Create production schedules that Maintain optimal stock levels to ensure seamless operations whilst minimizing costs and optimize materials flows.
· Supply daily information to Shift Managers/Team Leaders regarding material supply issues.
· Maintain MPS plans looking out 13 weeks for medium term plans and the optimal use of the MPR system.
· Provide timely communication with commercial and production teams.
· Provide as required, long term material forecasts, working with Materials planning and Procurement teams.
· Present plans at the weekly planning and handover meetings to all key stakeholders.
· Liaise with project teams to ensure NPI and delists are managed on time and on budget.
· Manage the ERP system to ensure data integrity of parts and inventory information.
· Provide annual stock and materials usage projections for budgets and stakeholders as required.
· Oversee the purchasing plan for raw materials in the short and medium term in line with stock and cashflow targets.
· Work within the supply chain team to optimize stock on site.
· Key Member of Focus groups, including Raw Materials optimization, NPI and ERP implementation.
· Liaise with the technical team and suppliers to understand requirements for components.
· Attend Daily Production and control meetings representing the wider planning team.
· Prepare and report daily and weekly KPIS including production plan attainment and materials usage variance.
