Registered Home Manager - £45,000 – Torquay     

SYK are proud to be working with a client who are recruiting for an experienced Registered Manager to join their Team. This is a great opportunity to work as a Registered Manager for one of the largest private healthcare providers in the UK in a specialist Acquired Brain Injury service.

The specialist care centre based in Torquay provides around the clock care for residents living with Acquired Brain Injury as well as Dementia / Alzheimer’s and Elderly Care. It’s a small service looking for an experience Home Manager with a proven track record of achieved Good CQC reports and ideally a background in ABI.

As Home Manager, you will take responsibility for the clinical, operational and financial performance of the service, ensuring a high-quality and cost-effective service which meets the needs of residents and exceeds regulatory requirements. You will deliver effective leadership and line management, and will monitor, coach and support the care, nursing and ancillary teams.

Applicants for this Home Manager position should meet the following criteria:

• Recognised management qualification – Ideally Diploma Level 5 / The Registered Managers Award / NVQ Level 4
• A strong background in ABI, elderly care, ideally having previous experience as CQC Registered Manager
• Able to effectively manage budgets and resources, increasing profitability without compromising on care
• Able to lead, develop and inspire both teams
