Job description
We are looking for an enthusiastic and self motivated individual to provide financial and administrative support within Aneurin Bevan University Health Board's Charitable Funds and Patients Monies Team.
The Team is responsible for the day to day running of the Health Board's Charity, providing accurate and timely information to Charitable Fund Holders, supporting the Charitable Funds Committee, producing annual accounts and reports and providing information to donors (the public).
This role would suit someone with experience of working in a busy office environment and offers a wide variety of duties. The team has adopted a culture of continuous improvement and you should be able to think innovatively to improve processes.
You will be responsible for: receipting monies, maintaining cash books, performing bank and ledger reconciliations; meeting with staff across all wards and departments providing advice and support.
You should be able to multitask, prioritising workload to achieve deadlines, have good communication skills and be able to demonstrate drive and commitment to consistently achieving high standards. Good IT skills and a knowledge of using computerised systems are essential for this role.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
The team is currently based in Mamhilad, but will potentially move to Cwmbran within the next 12 months, but you will be required to travel within a geographical area to meet the requirements of the post.
