About the Role:

Key Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver engaging and interactive maths lessons that cater to the diverse learning needs and abilities of students, fostering their understanding and confidence in mathematical concepts.
Utilize a variety of teaching strategies and resources to make mathematics accessible and enjoyable, encouraging active participation and critical thinking among students.
Assess and monitor students' progress, providing timely feedback and support to help them achieve their academic goals and overcome any challenges they may encounter.
Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement innovative teaching practices and initiatives, promoting a collaborative and inclusive learning environment.
Engage students in practical activities, problem-solving tasks, and real-world applications of mathematics to enhance their mathematical skills and prepare them for future success.
Qualifications and Requirements:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognized teaching qualification in mathematics.
Strong subject knowledge and passion for mathematics, with the ability to inspire and motivate students of all abilities to achieve their full potential.
Experience teaching mathematics at the secondary level, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality and effective lessons that promote student engagement and attainment.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, colleagues, and parents/carers.
Commitment to continuous professional development and staying abreast of developments in mathematics education, with a willingness to participate in relevant training and CPD opportunities.
