Programming Assistant

Job description

You’ll assist in the delivery and development of a programme of activities and events. By doing so, you’ll help to create an enjoyable experience for everyone that visits and help them understand more about our place.

Hours/working pattern: 30 hours over 4 days a week. This will include some weekends and Bank Holidays.

We are currently undertaking our pay review process and it is likely that this salary will be increased from 1st April 2024.

Reporting to the Visitor Experience Officer, you’ll work across the Felbrigg, Sheringham and West Runton portfolio.

You'll also work with the Welcome Team, assisting with tasks such as group bookings and mobility scooters, delivering outstanding customer service to visitors.

You'll help to create and deliver events and activities that bring our places to life for our visitors all year round. Understanding how and why we engage our supporters is key. You’ll help link everything we do back to our cause and the on-going work we do. You’ll deliver high standards of presentation across all sites and ensure all our communications with our visitors around the property is clear and consistent.

Working with a team of dedicated volunteers, you'll help look after the Felbrigg and Sheringham Second-hand bookshops, which are a vital part of our on property fundraising efforts.
