Research Programme Manager (children's and young people's cancers) x 2
Location: Stratford, London (High flex - we'd expect you to be in the office 1 to 2 days a week)
Department : Research and Innovation
Reports to: Children's and Young People's Lead - Research Funding
Contract: Permanent, 35 hours per week (flexible working requests will be considered)
Salary: £46,000 - £52,000 pa per annum (depending on experience)

About the team
Here at Cancer Research UK, children's and young people's (CYP) cancer is a priority area of focus with a dedicated strategy to address the unique challenges holding back progress.
The children's and young people's strategy aims to improve survival and long-term quality of life for all children and young people affected by cancer. Achieving this will be crucial to our organisational vision of bringing about a world where everybody can lead longer, better lives, free from the fear of cancer.
The Children's and Young People's team is responsible for developing and delivering this strategy, coordinating cross-organisational activities and ensuring our strategic objectives are met.
This is a unique opportunity, at an exciting time, to play an integral part of the team as we grow our ambition and drive transformational change for children and young people affected by cancer.
What will you be doing?
As a Programme Manager within the team, you will have responsibility for a range of activities; including delivering a programme of initiatives, building and managing key stakeholder relationships, and developing and/or driving new scientific and partnership strategies.
We are hiring for two roles, one with initial focus on science and research landscaping, and the other on partnership and engagement activities.
