If you’re an Optical Assistant looking for a new role with no weekends look no further. This mobile role is Monday to Friday 8:30 – 5:30pm, with a company car and strong bonus scheme in place. Working in care homes, seeing up to 18 patients a day in the wide area of Northwest. Optical Assistant Position
Inspired Selections are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Optical Assistant to cover the Manchester area in my clients leading independent domiciliary care business. You will be required to deliver patient centred eye care to patients within care homes. It is essential that you can drive as you will be required to drive yourself and the Optometrist to the care homes.

Responsibilities of the Optical Assistant
As an experienced Optical Assistant, you’ll ensure the delivery of a high-quality professional service, with high standards of dispensing, fitting and customer care plus supporting and working alongside the optometrist. In short, you’ll make sure every patient gets a great experience and a professional service. A sympathetic approach is required as well as a patient manner due to the nature of the dispensing undertaken.
Compensation for the Optical Assistant
On offer there is a competitive salary of £25k basic, a company car and a performance related bonus (approximately £400 – £500 perm month), but more importantly the chance to take the next step in your optical career. You will have full 28 days holiday +1 day extra for your birthday. Normal working hours are 8:30am to 5.30pm Mon- Fri.
