This is a great opportunity to join this Legal 100 law firm as a Commercial Property Development Solicitor to advise clients on complex commercial property development projects, from acquisition to completion. You’ll be collaborating with a dynamic team of professionals to provide comprehensive legal solutions that drive successful property transactions.
The team advise on:
- Promotion agreements, option agreements and hybrid promotion/options
- Conditional contracts, conditional on planning and/ or provision of infrastructure
- Land assembly strategies
- Collaboration agreements between landowners, including land pool trusts
- Sales of property with the benefit of planning on a phased basis, dealing with separation of development and planning obligations together with ancillary documents such as performance security
- Joint venture agreements and development agreements
Responsibilities:
- Advise clients on all aspects of commercial property development, including acquisitions, planning, financing, and disposals
- Draft, review, and negotiate commercial property agreements, leases, and contracts
- Conduct due diligence investigations and property title reviews
- Liaise with local authorities, planning consultants, and other relevant stakeholders
- Handle legal aspects related to property financing and investment
- Provide legal guidance on property-related regulatory compliance
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure seamless and efficient project execution
Requirements:
- Qualified solicitor with a minimum of 3 years of PQE in commercial property development
- In-depth knowledge of property law, planning regulations, and real estate transactions
- Proven experience in handling complex property development matters
- Strong drafting, negotiation, and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and work effectively under deadlines
- Previous experience within a reputable law firm or real estate practice
