Accountancy Practice recruitment specialists Clark Wood are currently working with a well known independent firm of chartered accountants who are now looking to grow their team though the addition of a an ambitious Accounts Assistant / Accounts Semi Senior.
As an Accounts Assistant / Accounts Semi Senior you will undertake a varied role which will see you involved with the preparation of year-end accounts and the associated tax computations for a diverse range of clients including limited companies, sole traders, and partnerships. You will also be responsible for completing bookkeeping work for clients and preparing and submitting periodic VAT returns.
This is a fantastic opportunity for the successful candidate to join a forward-thinking and respected firm where you will gain exposure to a broad array of clients and where there will be tangible scope for career development. The role would also offer the chance to become involved with some audit work, although this aspect can be tailored to the individual.
The successful individual may have already completed or may be working towards the latter stages of their AAT Qualification or may have recently started their ACA / ACCA studies.
