We have an exciting opportunity for you to join us as a Materials Manager at our client site based near Heathrow.
The Material Manager role is integral to the delivery of the Heathrow Logistics Integration (HLI) contracted service provision. You will be working cohesively with the HLI management and CLC operational team. A flexible approach and the ability to balance conflicting priorities to meet the operational requirements are essential to this role.
Main Duties:
- Effective planning, establishing priorities and allocation of available resources. This will require outstanding administration ability of a naturally well organised individual, who can keep and maintain records.
- You will be involved in the planning and coordination of all aspects of daily Colnbrook Logistics Centre operations.
- Provide relevant stakeholders with specialist and detailed technical expertise to help achieve their project's objectives. You will be expected to enhance your job knowledge and expertise (theoretical and practical) through continual professional development and ability to demonstrate an understanding of different organisational departments and functions.
- Analyse held inventory dwell times and ensure project excess material is managed accordingly, highlighting areas of concern and providing solutions. Identify Fulcrum information discrepancies and resolve accordingly.
- Responsible for ensuring that relevant project's supply chain adhere to Heathrow bylaws in relation to delivery of construction material to airside and landside projects. This is done by ensuring project tracker is kept in date and the site registration and communication process is adhered to.
- Perform metrics reporting and data analysis tasks to identify issues and opportunities for process improvements.
- Assist with site safety audits and associated record keeping, to deliver and assure safe systems of work.
What we can offer you:
- Salary - £48,000 to £51,000
- Full time hours - 5 days per week 8.30am to 5pm

Essential
- Experience of integration and partnership working within the construction logistics sector, developing, nurturing, and managing stakeholder relationships to develop new and innovative opportunities
- Full Driving Licence
