My client is a multidiscipline consultancy who work on some of the most exciting sustainable design projects in the UK across a range of sectors. My client is looking to recruit a Senior Building Physics Engineer to join their team in Winchester.
Responsibilities:
- Carrying out Thermal comfort analysis and CIBSE TM54 Operational Energy analysis.
- Undertake Building regulations compliance modelling and NABERS simulations
- assist on Passive design and low-zero carbon technology studies
- Aid with Net-zero operational energy studies for new and retrofit projects
Requirements for the Senior Building Physics Engineer role include:
- MSc within an engineering, architecture, or sustainability field
- Relevant strong practical experience and demonstratable knowledge within a building physics or sustainability engineering role
- Experience with heat transfer, energy, CIBSE guidance and RIBA.
- Good knowledge of IES-VE and UK Building regulations.
- Accredited user of IES-VE, CIBSE Low Carbon Consultant, and Low Carbon Energy Assessor level 5.
- Understanding of mechanical design would be beneficial
- Excellent communication and strong attention to detail
