WSP Middle East are currently looking for an experienced Forensic Planning Consultant with good experience in forensic planning and delay analysis who can write high quality reports and narratives to be part of an ongoing high value, high profile and complex project in Riyadh.
Your new role, what's involved?
- Support and assist the commercial team with dispute resolution and claims planning matters on multiple projects, including construction scheduling, delay and disruption analysis for infrastructure and assets.
- Uncover irregularities within project records by closely examining documentation, contracts, and communication records.
- Project based tasks to include fact-finding to detailed analysis, quantification of delay and damages, delay modelling, and strategy formation for revealing the underlying factors contributing to schedule disruptions.
- Demonstration of critical paths & consequent disruption using various methodologies e.g. Time Impact Analysis (TIA), Window Analysis.
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations of contractor’s extension of time / disruption claims.
- Identify concurrent delays and splitting between contractor and employer delays.
- Demonstration of entitlement to EoT occurring as a result of delay/ disruption/ loss of efficiency. Production rate analysis and work cycle analysis to demonstrate entitlement to EoT, drafting of claim and negotiation strategy.
- Provide strategic advice to clients on the strengths and weaknesses of extension of time entitlements based on a detailed review of evidence sources such as programs, correspondence, site records, photographs, meeting minutes, productivity indicators, and other facts.
- Preparation in anticipation for the defences to counterclaims and advice regarding retrospective analysis for EoTs, prolongation costs, disruption, programme critiques and delay analysis critiques.
- Compile and present data and generate comprehensive, complete, and self-explanatory reports.
We'd love to hear from you if you have:
- A Degree in Engineering or related field.
- Minimum 10-15 years post-graduate experience in construction industry with minimum 5 years' GCC experience.
- Demonstrated experience and knowledge in the application of Primavera P6 on infrastructure projects and the application of various delay analysis methodologies.
- Demonstrated experience in planning, forensic delay analysis, claims, commercial dispute resolution and project controls.
- Knowledge of construction contracts and legal aspects of project disputes.
Advance level English language skills in report writing, presentations and communication
