The school is an SEN school based in Rotherham who trusts us to connect them with a proactive and enthusiastic SEN TA who is ready to support and work alongside the schools values and mission to foster a caring and positive learning environment. We are looking for a reliable, engaging and patient teaching assistant who is ready to make an impact on students' education and support. Is this you?

the requirements:

• Hold an enhanced DBS on the update service (or be willing to obtain one through Randstad).
• Previous and relevant experience supporting children.
• Previous experience supporting SEN students.
• Reliable.
• Available on a full-time basis.
• Strong patience and time management skills.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Committed to working collaboratively as a team.

the responsibilities:

• Assist the teacher with classroom preparation and activities.
• Support and guide students in their day-to-day learning and development.
• Maintain a positive and creative learning environment.
• Help students remain focused and inspired towards the lesson plan and activities.
• Potential for 1:1 or group support to pupils with additional needs when required.
• Building rapport with students, teachers and parents/ carers.
