Job description
A Credit Controller is required for an exceptional business services company, who will handle duties related to the financial accounts within the Accounting & Finance Department and ensure the timely receipt of payments.
Client Details
This is a large-scale, established company in the business services industry. It prides itself on providing a wide range of services to a diverse client base across the country.
The business are looking for a strong credit controller to join their team, offering a fully hybrid approach.
This role is to work within the direct debit part of the business, you will be chasing cancelled and unpaid direct debits so resilience is essential.
Working hours are 9am - 5:30pm.
Description
- Ensure timely collection of payments
- Manage and resolve customer queries related to payments
- Perform credit checks on potential clients
- Implement and maintain policies and procedures for the credit control process
- Compile and present reports on collection activities and progress
- Collaborate with the Accounting & Finance Department to maintain accurate financial records
- Implement strategies to reduce company debt
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies
Profile
A successful Credit Controller should have:
- A strong educational background in finance or a related field
- Exceptional skills in negotiation and communication
- A solid understanding of financial legislation
- Proficiency in industry-specific software and programmes
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines
- A commitment to maintaining confidentiality and acting with discretion
Job Offer
- An estimated salary range of £25,000 to £27,000 + quarterly bonus of up to 24%
