We are excited to have a new opportunity for a Graduate Engineer to join us as part of our 2024 early careers programme which will commence in August 2024.
About The Role
This opportunity will suit someone passionate about embarking on a career within reliability engineering, industrial engineering, project planning and project management. Within the role, you will develop both your technological problem solving skills as well as your organisational, planning and management abilities. We will provide you with the knowledge and training to successfully oversee complex engineering projects from start to finish and support you in building the strong foundations for a successful career in the field. Additionally you can expect:
Exposure to a multi-disciplinary environment across The Port of Tilbury.
By the end of the graduate programme you will specialise in continuous improvement methodologies within an engineering context and be able to apply analytical knowledge in industrial engineering processes which further optimise operational performance in our Ports.
You will also become an expert on the use of our Maintenance Management Systems (Ultimo) and Analytic Software (Power BI) to interpret effectiveness of maintenance strategies to support effective life cycle and budget management of Port Assets.
Opportunities will also be presented to contribute to and undertake a number of complex projects within an industrial engineering environment.

A degree in Engineering with a minimum 2:1 achieved / expected
Full UK driving licence
The successful candidate must by the start of their employment have permission to work in the UK
Excellent communication skills
Passionate about embarking on a career within Engineering
