Our client is a growing automotive company based at Coleshill, B46 (AGY- Industria personnel services)

The job is a temporary, on-going position which can lead to a permanent position for the right people!!

A minimum of 1 years’ experience driving a forklift truck is required, training will be provided 'on the job' starting on day 1

Job Role

Counterbalance Driver

Key responsibilities & duties:

Reach/Bendi Driver - delivery and put away to lines and pack stations

All licences must be ITSSAR or RTITB accredited, valid and in date

Shifts

Monday to Friday

10:00 – 18:00

£11.50 per hour

Ability to commute/relocate:

Birmingham, B46 1AL: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

ITSSAR or RTITB FLT licence (required)

Work Location:

In person

Responsibilities:

- Operate forklifts to load and unload materials and products

- Transport materials to designated areas within the warehouse or production facility

- Stack and organize products and materials in a safe and efficient manner

- Perform routine maintenance checks on forklifts and report any issues or malfunctions

- Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment

- Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines

Qualifications:

- Valid forklift operator certification/license

- Proven experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or production setting

- Strong knowledge of forklift safety procedures and practices

- Ability to read and interpret work orders or instructions

- Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness

- Physical stamina to lift heavy objects and perform repetitive tasks

- Attention to detail and accuracy in handling materials
