An opportunity has arisen for you to immediately join the dedicated team at a school in the Handsworth Wood area as an
Early Career Teacher where you will be enriching the lives and unlocking potential in students.
You can commute easily from Soho, Lozells, Aston, Nechells, Erdington, Gravelly Hill and Central Birmingham and you will be joining a school whose core belief is that all staff should have a healthy work life balance with a particular focus on wellbeing and mental health.
What will you be doing?- Planning and delivering lessons according to the national curriculum
- Providing motivation and guidance to help pupils overcome obstacles in their learning
- Offering 1:1 support where needed
- Coaching students on a wide range of academic and pastoral topics
You will be able to start in the role immediately on a full-time basis where you can be paid to scale from M1 dependant on your experience and qualifications.
About you: You will have knowledge on the school curriculum and learning stages and hold QTS. Beneficial traits for this role include patience, drive and approachability.
Ideally you will have an in-date DBS registered to the update service; if you do not hold this, we can arrange for you at a cost of £44, which is refundable once you have completed ten days in your new role.
