Job description

Morgan McKinley is looking for an experienced Fund Accountant with proven Financial Reporting skills and experience. The ideal candidate will have fund statutory reporting experience and have worked within the FS / Insurance / Pensions type sector. This is a 6 month fixed term contract Fund Accounting role to start ASAP.

Salary: £50-60K dependent on experience

Location: Hybrid - 1-2 days office based Tadworth, Surrey

Fund Accounting duties:

* Preparation of financial statements
* Completing regular reviews, income and expense balances
* Reconcile income tax and corporation tax balances
* Liaison with the auditors, tax specialists etc
* Conduct financial analysis and review of funds
* Assist with any audit queries and reconciling positions to statements

Skills and experience required:

* Previous experience working in a similar Accountant, Reporting type role - fund reporting
* Strong attention to detail, analytical and numerate mind-set
* Ideally be part a qualified accountant or qualified by experience
