Job Title : Course Coordinator

Location : Croydon

Salary : £24,000 - £26,000 per annum (depending on experience)

Contract : Full-Time, Permanent

Overview :

Trigon Recruitment is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented individual for the role of Course Coordinator. This position involves providing administrative support for various contracts, including the GLA contract, and supporting delivery of adult education courses. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in coordinating course logistics, managing learner enrolments, overseeing exam bookings, and ensuring compliance with funding rules and regulations.

Key Responsibilities :

• Organize courses, including room bookings, learner enrolments, course bookings, and exam arrangements.
• Communicate regularly with leads, learners, and tutors to ensure smooth course delivery.
• Lead enrolment sessions, conduct Zoom presentations, and assist learners with enrolment paperwork.
• Provide initial advice and guidance to learners and assist them throughout their learning journey.
• Register and claim learners for courses, coordinate resit exams, and ensure compliance with funding rules.
• Input data for key contracts, meet upload deadlines, and handle administrative tasks such as reports and data compliance.
• Collaborate with the team to handle office administration duties, including bookings, certificate distribution, and enquiries.
• Maintain accurate databases and organized filing systems for auditing purposes.
• Effectively and efficiently deal with course requests.
• Completion of timely and accurate registrations, in accordance with Awarding Organisation requirements and internal quality processes
• Liaising with Tutors/Teachers to ensure a seamless learner experience.
• Claiming certificates and sending to learners, gathering and collating learner feedback, following up on learner progression data.

Essential/Desirable Criteria :

• Knowledge of funding rules and qualifications.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping.
• Proficiency in using IT systems, including Microsoft Office Suite and data management software.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with team members and external stakeholders.
• Information, Advice & Guidance qualification.
• Previous experience in a similar role, ideally within an adult education provider or educational institution.
• Disclosure and barring service (DBS) check.
