Grade: Lecturer Scale 1 - 14 £35,552 - £63,513 per annum
Full Time
A Lecturer in Functional Skills and GCSE English is required to teach in the Programme Area of English, Maths and Skills at the Guernsey College of Further Education, part of The Guernsey Institute.
The programme area delivers discrete courses from Entry Level to Level 2 for full and part-time students. The majority of teaching is to full-time students at Level 1 and 2, with additional delivery to adult, part-time and also SEN learners. The Programme Area forms part of the Learner Support Services, and we require a dynamic and enthusiastic lecturer to inspire students and be part of a very supportive and forward thinking organisation.

Successful candidates will be entitled to a Long Term Employment Permit of 8 years, which will allow you to become a permanent resident and bring your immediate family over to the island who will be able to live and work under a Family Residents Permit here in the Bailiwick. We offer a full relocation package which includes a £5000.00 lump sum payment and 4 year rent allowance, which are payable upon all pre-employment checks being satisfactorily completed and the successful candidate subsequently starting in post.
