Job description
Production Operative within the manufacturing facility.
Main Responsibilities:
Manufacturing:
- operating planned equipment to specified SOPs, ensuring quality is maintained at all times
- monitor production processes, making adjustments or troubleshooting issues to maintain product quality and minimize downtime
- collaborate with the Production Supervisor and Production Manager to meet production targets and deadlines
- reporting of faults to the Production Supervisor , Production Manager, and engineer as required and inform QC of issues noted during production work as part of a team with a flexible approach to ensure that all production needs are met. This includes a willingness to train and to train others and rotate roles within the department
- follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and safety guidelines to ensure a safe and healthy work environment
- maintain your PPE and use appropriately at all times. It is your responsibility to ensure it is in working condition and to report defects to your Line Manager immediately
- operate with a high regard to your own and others Health and Safety. Fully Comply with all Company Health, Safety and Environment Policies
- at all times ensure maximum efficiency and QC Compliance
- maintain a safe and tidy working environment
- work within a process of continuous improvement
- flexibility to work in other areas for the needs of the business as required
