At Workchain, we are thrilled to present a fantastic opportunity for a skilled Forklift Driver Reach in Barnsley. Our client, a reputable company in the Industrial industry, is looking for a dedicated individual to join their team on a permanent basis.

As a Forklift Driver Reach, you will play a crucial role in the efficient operations of our client's warehouse. Your key responsibilities will include:

1. Operating a Reach forklift in a safe and efficient manner, following all relevant health and safety guidelines to ensure the well-being of yourself and colleagues.
2. Conducting regular inspections of the forklift to ensure it is in proper working condition, reporting any concerns or issues immediately.
3. Loading and unloading goods from vehicles, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail to maintain inventory integrity.
4. Moving and stacking products, utilizing the forklift efficiently to maximize productivity and minimize damage.
5. Assisting with general warehouse duties, including picking and packing orders, as required.

To be successful in this role, you will need the following qualifications and characteristics:

1. Valid and up-to-date Reach forklift license.
2. Proven experience as a Forklift Driver Reach, preferably within an industrial or warehouse environment.
3. Excellent understanding of health and safety regulations related to forklift operations.
4. Strong attention to detail, ensuring accurate product handling and placement.
5. Physical fitness, as the role may involve manual lifting and long periods of time spent on your feet.
6. Reliable and punctual, with a strong work ethic and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

This role:

Temp-to-perm 

Weekly pay. 

Monday - Friday 

06:00am - 14:00pm

Immediate start. 

For this role you must have an in date full FLT reach licence. 

Our client offers a competitive pay rate of £12.00 per hour for this position, ensuring that your hard work is recognized and rewarded.
