Job description

We are currently recruiting for Warehouse Operatives to work nights at our clients Depot in Quedgeley Gloucester. This role will be a Temporary to Permanent opportunity. The key responsibilities of this role are:

• To handle light and heavy parcels moving them manually to the correct locations/bays within the depot. Either manually or mechanically as directed by the Shift Manager
• To monitor and prevent damage to goods and to inform a Shift Manager where damage is identified
• To implement the Health and Safety Policy, ensuring and maintaining a safe working environment at all times
• To implement the Security Policy ensuring and maintaining a secure passage of goods for the customer
• Carry out such other duties as may reasonably be requested by the Management or the Shift Manager

• Excellent timekeeping
• Target driven (All parcels movements / on time / correct)
• Work well under pressure and too tight deadlines
• Shift Patterns Available

Shift Patterns:

• 5 nights per week working from 23:30 to 08:30
• 4 nights per week working from 23:30 to 09:30

Ideally we are looking for someone who is available to start immediately.
